Well, I have been having to change things around on the old iPod I mentioned. I filled it up, & now I am having to make some tough choices about what to have on there versus what is not necessary to have on there. For example, although I actually listen to Miles Davis' Pangaea every now & again, it's just so massive that I took it off. I did manage to get some nifty short films on there: Luis Buñuel, Maya Deren, Chuck Jones, Strong Bad...

So, my question to you is: what do you personally think should/would be indispensable on an iPod? Be specific, please. It can be a song, an album, a video, whatever. I can't say I will follow everyone's advice, but I am curious. :)

Toodles!

There aren't many albums I'd consider necessary for an iPod.

Harry Chapin "Greatest Stories Live" because I'm a Harry Chapin dork.

How about the Gin Blossoms? "New Miserable Experience"? It's one of the few albums I bought in the 90s that I still listen to pretty regularly.

"Red Headed Stranger" because... well.

Personally, I'd have the entire G n' R catalog on there, but again, I'm a dork like that.

A little Carter Family never hurt.

And last, but not least, some Bob Wills. Gotta love the Western Swing.
